| SUBJECT: MATHEMATICS I know I've thrown this one out there to a few of you in passing, but I'm starting to get serious. I've been kicking around a new course called, "Calculus is not Calamitous". Or, how about "Calculus: in the style of Jaime Escalante's Kahl-KOO-loos." Does this interest anyone?
Possible topics of study include practical applications of Calculus to real life. Don't you ever wonder? Why did we have to take this in high school/college (and for some, several times) if it doesn't relate to real life? It must!

| SUBJECT: PSYCHOLOGY / COMMERCE / LINGUISTICS
Do you think that, in the future, we'll be able to patent FEELINGS? If you could patent a new feeling, what would it be called.
For instance:
bulimicolic (buh*lee*mee*caw*lik): a sickening, nauseous, vomit-inducing feeling one gets after speaking with an ignoramus from the backwoods or similar uncultivated areas.
bacontent (bay*con*tehnt): a quiet yet overwhelming satisfaction derived from pork and/or pork bi-products
| SUBJECT: SCIENCE / SOCIOLOGY
(posted question in a comment but wanted to repost as a TOPIC)
What element on the Periodic Table would you choose to name your son and daughter?
| Topic for discussion:
Does evil and/or the devil exist?
